Statute of Limitations Under the FCRA
The statute of limitations under the FCRA is two-tier. No matter what, you have at least two years to sue for a FCRA violation. If you are unaware of the violation, you may have up to five years to file suit. However, to avoid giving defendants a way out of your case, the safest option is to file your case within two years of the violation.
